Rich Gioscia, Director of Design, Palm
As director of design for Palm Inc., Rich led his team in the development of several award-winning handhelds, including the Palm Zire, Tungsten, LifeDrive, Treo, Centro and the latest Palm Pre smartphone designs. Rich and the in-house team are responsible for all the Industrial Design creation at Palm. Prior to joining Palm, Rich was the Director of Sony's U.S. design office. He established the "My First Sony" line, led Sony to the No. 1 sales position in color TVs with the introduction of the Trinitron WEGA/XBR series and Projection TV line, and developed many key designs that built a $1 billion Portable Audio business.
