Rainwater HOG tank

Rainwater HOG is a rain rescue and storage tank designed as a water-filled building block. Conceived by an Australian architect battling with drought and frustrated by the lack of options for domestic scale urban rainwater catchment, Rainwater HOG seeks to advance and finesse traditional rainwater harvesting vessels by pioneering a new structure, describing a new aesthetic and multitasking the form and its stored water to add value throughout Rainwater HOG’s extended life. Structurally innovative, HOG’s flat walls and use of through-holes as bracing allow water flow in any direction – enabling HOG to store water horizontally and vertically. The HOG modules are deliberately slim and compact, making them easy to retrofit into the tightest spaces.
