Earl Tai, Ph.D, Former Acting Chair, Art & Design, Parsons New School
Earl Tai is an educator and designer whose work focuses on social ethics in design and art. He serves as Executive Director of Baobei Foundation, a Shanghai-based charity providing medical care for orphans suffering from severe birth defects. He previously served as Acting Chair of the Department of Art and Design Studies at Parsons School of Design in New York and as Head of Art at YK Pao School in Shanghai. He has previously been awarded grants from Harvard University, Columbia University, and the Fulbright Foundation.
